introspective in relation to some of the stuff you pressent. and i'm curious, what about not-groups- what about the plurality. in this you say that groups use certain tactics like these but what about the rejection of group ideologies. I'm a bigot, and i simply won't read material if it doesn't seem like it could have value. i avoid material which would create conditioning cycles, and this includes the mainstream news organizations. i noticed when i was 9 that i could identify things in articles which were demonstrably false, and i have experiance with reporters where they quoted me incorrectly using the same phrase but adding teh word "not" to make it appear i had beliefs other than i expressed in the interview. subsequent to the interview i was forced to answer for politically contentious beliefs i was attributed to have but did not have, and it sewed distrust. after the experience where i noticed dishonest/misleading/untruthful expression in many other articles, my skepticism was reinforced and became far more critical rationalizing other early childhood memories to make unsociable traits more internally acceptable. beyond news reporters, there was another group i became very bigoted regarding. i identified lots of terrifying little beliefs through 3rd party discussion. for example, in highschool i recognized someone who was a 4.2 student and i asked her what she thought about the hollocaust. and she thought it was a terrible thing to happen to the jews. to avoid confirmation bias i asked follow up questions to her and others (part of the same group) asking what about the hollocaust made the occurance bad. was it bad because it deminished multiculturalism, because racism, because the slaughter of humans, because the religious conciet, because the civilization collapsing infighting creating distrust, ... it wasn't any of those. the problem with the hollocaust was that the people slaughted enmasse were jews, and nothing about the jews was relevant. no aspect or variable associated with juadism/jews had any bearing on the judgement, only that the groups was specifically jewish. and to these individuals if similar happened to any other demographic/religion/creed/race/etc it wouldn't have been foreseeibly bad. ergative grammar in an accusative language is terrifying. back to the topic, this group by finding genocide/culling an acceptable method of interacting with people, caused me to be bigoted regarding their views, and self-isolating against them. later i found out that most of politicians and media pundits have this sociopathic paradigm, and so i've isolated myself against them as well. in your video this isolation of self against views inconsistent with the paradigm to help maintain ideological integrity seems to go beyond groups to even individual people. could you do a followup video to this one, where instead of talking about how people get 'tricked' into these groups you focus on how to accept contempt, and terror regarding confrontation with 'violent heretics'. because here is the thing, beyond dissonance there is the uncanny- things which are similar to us, but not close enough to feel right. and one of my problems dealing with the violent form of ideologue/cultist, is that to them i am that uncanny person with eyes like mouths- and a threat to their cognitive consonance (in your sense). i'd like to be able to confront them civilly, but beyond not laughing at absurd hyperboles it is very difficult to engage with people, or even to recognize if the individual is a person. "small minds talk about preference and sensation, mediocre minds talk about intrigue/politics, and people talk about ideas". but how to you turn the tide against hedonistic and selfrighteous zealotry? i have always been, relative to christianity, an athiest. relative to other paradigms don't matter topically, but you- you were a christian. and in the place you grew up, christianity was the plurality religion, so the same disscontent and disconnect with newspapers and fox news likely occured within you as NBC/ABC/PBS/ETC occured to me. i'd like to de-escalate the perception, in a culty style, where i hear disaggreeable indoctrination in a children's program and i don't feel betrayed or resentful over it. getting to a point where instead of being fully disconnected, i'm connected but apathetic. something you say in this but which i don't think you successfully grapple with, is the reduction of emotional response. you are right that it is a rationalization method to conform people to a dogmatic group but there is power in being calm and collected in the face of adversity- especially violence. and without reducing the experianced stimulous via discipline, you lose the capacity to self protect. another thing which happened to me was 'persecution' because it seemed unfair. and it seemed unfair because my metric for fair treatment (grounded on nondiscrimination) wasn't shared by the arbiter, who said i was guilty regarding some random occurrence due to my biological demographic. i can't really maintain plethora double standards, even though ethically speaking that would be required. so how does one breach personal integrity to have a large diversity of models to simultaneously reference? how do you break, without alowing the model diversity and saturation to reduce individual creativity to the extent you are checking social bullshit models instead of doing empiricle research? how does one become erudite without becoming an academic?

from isolationism and castle doctrine to anti-imperialism
there has been allot of shit going on in the last while; russia is militarizing. muslims on the extreme side are attempting to return the caliphate and conquer the west. feminism is trying to break down intergender relations and create resentment sufficient to empower distinct gender dialects.
i've been working on a journalism rework, which would replace journalism and the press as an institution, effectively create more insular cultures. but with the way some people are behaving- it has me worried. large portions of these people aren't capable of being civil and to have access to such a tool would just give them the mechanical advantage to geometricly spread out the harm they cause in selfish attempt to pollitik. they don't have the skills to produce, or the tallent to coerce, so they use violence and extort.
mutual extortion is nearly ubiquitous. where people do things to avoid the consequences of not doing them, or in attempt to gain favorable consequence. but there are all these groups of criminals who work with others to exploit the weakness of a third party, treating the third party like game to hunt. they have attitudes like "there are no bad methods, only bad targets". and presupposition that their opinion bespeaks their demographic and so something 'is offensive' instead of 'offending me'. or 'it is against my group' instead of 'it is against me'.
this ethnocentrism is toxic. because there are large portions of toxic people attempting to pollitic their way in and through all demographics, they target new ones which lack resistance and immunities, and they swell in ones which reinforce the behavior.
civil discussion is breaking because the things driving lexical shift, aren't acceptable at such a large demographic pool. and when people get rejected from one group entirely instead of reforming or dying they make a new one, with blackjack and hookers. meaning there is no point in them trying to change to rejoin the previous group. and this gets very worrisome when a group which is laughed out of culture, starts getting institutionalized power. covert misappropriation through the anonymity created by having a diverse and populous number of functionally interchangeable persons.
they are angry and vengeful apostates. and while getting them to have their alternative culture seems to be a bandage on the wound. the would seems to me atm too deep for mere bandage. because their alternative culture will just continue to polarize through faulty socialization, instead of giving a community which is an individual in a community of communities. if they do try to return to the community of communities, they often will find the general group to be as uncanny as the general group finds the minority, but the minority will have adapted in isolation and often will have a memetic virus to come back against the community of communities. whether the abuse is by violent extortion, denial of human rights, or intentional allienation to try to cause empathy through perceived reciprocity- doing to the bad people what you experianced as they did to you.
it pains me, but for full disclosure. even i'm ridiculously angry over the french reporters. i'm angry about feminism trying to imperialize games culture. and i'm angry about the abuse of law and language by assholes trying to politik dishonestly.
you see games culture was one of those minority groups which was for people feeling alienated out of the mainstream. and feminism went after the mainstream, once conquered they turned on to similar alienated and marginalized minorities like the NAACP, and the atheists. and now they are attempting to appropriate us while being outsiders. they kicked us out of their playhouse, and we built our own, and now that theirs is trashed they want in ours. they feel entitled to ours, but not responsible to play by our rules and customs. beyond that, they wouldn't accept let alone respect the customs, because they felt self entitled to be arbiters over other's behavior.
they weren't content with domineering unfairly over general culture, they had to invade and colonize the outliers. and it is the same for the muslims trying to get sharia in the west. and sadly it is the same kind of mentality of condescending westerners who want other groups to become the west (like some feminists), despite those foreign places being as foreign to us as we are to them. and that is the isolationist point. the only thing they must let us be is ourselves.
they must let us interpret and consider and discuss our experiences amongst ourselves. getting criticism only when requested. we should not grow up as a culture as that vilifies the ignorance of childhood. we should not pander to domestic groups because that inherently polarizes and creates hostilities with the group which oppose them. and we should neither project alien demands on external groups, nor let them project their will on us. and we need to do this because complicit participation in exploitative circumstance is aiding and abetting the circumstance. presuming the validity of democracy even when the group being oppressed by the rule was previously exiled from the cultural privilege of representation and inclusion, is invalid. you don't get to domineer something when it becomes successful, a pack of wolves will always choose the sheep.
